Kann diese Version grundsätzlich parallel zu anderen Versionen installiert werden, so wie bis anhin?

Hatte bisher noch keine Probleme, hab aber auch noch nicht alle Versionen und alle Funktionen getestet. Aber technisch 2009 bis BC scheinen auf dem gleichen Rechner und auch mit SQL- 2017 zu laufen.
Aber eine Sicherung vor dem einspielen schadet trotzdem nicht.

Ja, es funktioniert so wie bisher auch bei neuen Hauptversionen.
Der Standard-Installationsordner ist jetzt aber (Bsp. Windows Client): C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central\130

Auf der Downloadseite steht nun folgender Hinweis:

We have introduced a small issue in the RTM build and license files for Business Central on-prem. The symptom of the issue is that the user gets this error message:

“Your program license does not permit more users to work simultaneously. Wait until another user has stopped using the program. Contact your system administrator if you want to allow more simultaneous users on your system.”

We have found the root cause. There was a mismatch in the product line settings in the license file.

For RTM the solution is that the partner/customer create a new license for Business Central. This is a workaround and will unblock partners and customer.

For CU1 we will have the right solution which includes a platform fix and a new license again.​​​

Achtung, der Link enthält ab jetzt scheinbar immer das aktuellste CU und nicht mehr die RTM-Version. Aktuell also CU01.
