Oft haben Sie sich bessere und umfangreichere Demo-Daten für Microsoft Dynamics NAV gewünscht. Ihre Wünsche erfüllen wir nun mit der Bereitstellung der neuen Demo-Datenbanken.

Diese erweiterte Datenbank wird Ihnen helfen, Szenarien in der Vorverkaufsphase besser demonstrieren zu können. Mit den erweiterten Demo-Daten ist es möglich, reale Business Intelligence-Szenarien zu zeigen. Die Datenbank simuliert ein fünfjähriges Wachstum der Firma CRONUS.

Die erweiterten Demo-Datenbanken sind ab heute für folgende Länder verfügbar: US, CA, DE, DK, UK, MX und W1.

- 76 neue Kunden und 32 Lieferadressen wurden hinzugefügt.
- Mehr als 11.000 Aufträge und mehr als 800 Bestellungen wurden verarbeitet.
- 88.000 Sachposten wurden hinzugefügt.
- 32.000 Artikelposten wurden hinzugefügt.
- 2,4 Millionen Datensätze wurden insgesamt hinzugefügt, die Original Demo-Datenbank unmfasste 61210 Datensätze.

Gerade mal zwei Jahre ist es her, dass sich ein neues Team der Aufgabe gewidmet hat den Namen „Lotus“ wieder in der Formel 1 zu etablieren. Im Oktober 2009 bestand das Team aus 11 festen Mitgliedern, einer Handvoll freien Designern, fünf Lieferanten und genauso viel CAD-Rechnern in einer Scheune in Norfolk (Großbritannien). Innerhalb von 12 Monaten waren es schon mehr als 200 Angestellte, eine komplette, leistungsfähige CAD-Infrastruktur und 720 Lieferanten. Ein beeindruckendes Wachstum, wie ich finde.

Eine Herausforderung ist das schnelle Wachstum so zu kontrollieren, dass das Ganze dann auch wirklich als Team zusammenspielt. Denn eines kann man sich in der Formel 1 nicht leisten: Qualitätsprobleme und Lieferengpässe durch unorganisierte Zusammenarbeit mit den Lieferanten. Genau diese Kombination: Flexibel das Wachstum abbilden und dennoch konsolidiert und kontrolliert Unternehmensprozesse im Einkauf, Finanzbereich und der Herstellung des Fahrzeugs abzubilden waren entscheidend bei der Entscheidung für Microsoft Dynamics AX.
